Course Outline

The course provides a structured methodology to instill creativity and innovation in an organization. The course covers various broad topics like building a culture of innovation, research, ideation, prototyping, implementation and sustainability.

Approach

The course focuses on training the trainers through a structured approach and the use of a variety of tools, methods and practices. It is enhanced through face-to-face sessions and online resources for effective learning.

Outcomes

After the course, the team will be able to solve problems based on a proven process, innovate creatively to address customer needs, train others in the organization to be able to think creatively and involve stakeholders in a meaningful way to create products and services to delight the users.

Participant Composition

Participants for the course are chosen from a cross-section of the organization so that the team comprises of every aspect of the organization’s operations. Participants ideally should include a variety of hierarchy levels from top management to the entry level staff.

Face-to-face Training

Course is rendered predominantly via face-to-face training. Each batch can have around 15-20 participants from a cross-section of the organization. Sessions feature action-based learning where the participants work together to find solutions. Course has over 100 activities done in sessions, together as a team.

Online Training

An online learning system is available for all participants for the duration of the course. Worksheets and templates are available for download and use. Online resources offer more practice and examples to reinforce the concepts. The learning system also allows the participants to upload their work to receive evaluation and feedback.

Worksheets and Templates

Worksheets are available for participants to use during or after the sessions. Templates are available for the organization to use even after completion of the course in their normal course of work. While the templates give them ready-to-use tools, the participants are taught and encouraged to improvise and adapt them to their specific needs.
